Paderborn earned a point in midweek but remain bottom of the Bundesliga. They continue their battle against relegation but face an almighty task when hosting second-placed Borussia Dortmund. The home side drew 0-0 at Augsburg on Wednesday but are still eight points adrift of the relegation play-off position and nine from safety. They would have hoped for more than a point at Augsburg considering they had 15 attempts on goal. However, only three were on target so a bit of time practicing their shooting on goal is needed before this game and have only scored one goal in their last three matches. Home form is nothing to boast about with only two wins in 14 league games. Ten of those have been lost with just one point from their last five at home.

Borussia Dortmund are now seven points behind leaders Bayern Munich with just six games remaining. A win for Bayern on Saturday would extend that gap to ten. They probably need to win all of their remaining games to stand any chance of winning the title, even that might not be enough. Their remaining fixtures aren’t that difficult aside from a trip to third-placed Leipzig. The loss to Bayern ended a run of seven straight league wins. Away form is good though with their last three being won, making seven altogether. The goals have been flowing with 14 scored in the last five away league fixtures and they will expect to get some against struggling Paderborn. Go for an away win for Dortmund.
