The Copa del Rey quarter finals match between Osasuna and Sevilla is set to take place at the Estadio El Sadar in Pamplona. Osasuna currently sits in seventh place in La Liga, having recently played to a 1-1 draw against Elche. They have an impressive record in the league, having only suffered two defeats in sixteen games and going unbeaten in their last five. This strong league performance has given them the luxury of focusing on the Cup, where they have already defeated Fuentes, Arnedo, and Gimnastic on their way to the quarterfinals. In the last round, they needed penalties to defeat Betis. Osasuna is also very strong at home, having recorded eight wins in their last twelve home games and remaining unbeaten in three of their last four home meetings with Sevilla. 

Sevilla comes into the match on the heels of a huge win against Cadiz on Saturday. The victory, which was secured via a late Rakitic penalty, has lifted them to safety in La Liga, although they are still just a single point ahead of the relegation places. As a result, they may have the cup as a secondary objective for now. They have already defeated Velarde, Torremolinos, Linares and Alaves to reach this stage of the competition, but they have only recorded five wins in their last thirteen competitive away games. With the relegation battle in full force, coach Jorge Sampaoli could find himself facing a team that is hungrier for progression in Pamplona.
