We head back to the Paycom Center on Tuesday night for Game 5 of the NBA Playoff series between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Denver Nuggets. OKC and the Nuggets have won two games each in this series. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

After blowing leads and losing Games 1 and 3 at the death, the Oklahoma City Thunder avoided the same mistake to win Game 4 on Saturday, 92-87, after leading by six at halftime. 

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has not been at his usual high level in this series, but he, along with Jalen Williams, found clutch baskets late in the last match to get their team over the line. 

It’s worth mentioning how well OKC have done in defending Nikola Jokic, who has shot below 40% in the last three games and went 7 of 22 over the weekend. 

Aside from the Joker, Aaron Gordon has arguably been Denver’s standout player in this series, but he struggled to make an impact in Game 4.

Jamal Murray’s consistency continues to come into question, and after a couple of good showings, Michael Porter Jr finished the last match with just three points.

While both teams shot poorly in Game 4, the major difference on the day was the bench contributions, with the Thunder’s accounting for 35 points, while the Nuggets’ managed just 14.
