This is the seventh time that Novak Djokovic has played in the China Open. Incredibly, he is yet to lose a match and in this year's semi-finals, the sixth seed takes on third-seeded Daniil Medvedev. A look at the previous results leads us to make a prediction of more than 20.5 games.

Either fifth seed Alex de Minaur or unseeded Hubert Hurkacz will be faced in the final.

Novak Djokovic rolled back the years when he came from a set down to beat the top seed Alexander Zverev in the quarter-finals. He has won this Beijing tournament six times, but this is his first appearance here since 2015 and he first won this title an incredible 17 years ago.

He extended his Beijing record to 32-0 with that quarter-final win.

Daniil Medvedev trails Djokovic 10-5 in previous matches, but this is their first in three years.
