Norwich vs Watford Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Norwich City could move into the Championship promotion play-off positions if beating 11th placed Watford at home. The Canaries are currently eighth in the table, only two points behind sixth placed Coventry and a win will take City above them, Only if seventh placed Hull CIty fail to beat Rotherham United on Tuesday will they go into sixth place. Even so, it's a vital game for Norwich aftero only drawing at QPR on Saturday. Norwich do need to improve their away form if wanting to get back into the Premier League. They lost the reverse fixture to Watford 3-2 despite leing 2-0 in 12 minutes. Home form is good though with nine wins from 15 games with four lost.  The last two at Carrow Road have both been wins with good victories over West Bromwich Albion and Coventry City. Five of their last seven home league games have been won.  

A win for Watford will see them draw to within a point of their opponents. They would also only be two points behind the top six and still in with a chance of promotion. The Hornets are not in promotion winning form though and have lost their last three league and cup games. Saturday saw them lose 2-1 at home to runaway Championship leaders Leicester City. That defeat means they have now gone six games in all competitions without a victory. Away form has produced five league wins with six draws and four defeats. Three of their last four away league fixtures have ended level with the other a win at QPR. We tip Norwich to get a narrow win in this game.
