The New Orleans Pelicans host the Minnesota Timberwolves yet again in the NBA to conclude a back-to-back schedule for the two. The Pels enter this match with the worst record in the Western Conference and are 10.5 games behind their sixth-placed visitors. Read on to find our prediction for this match.

The Pelicans gave a strong showing in the first game against the T-wolves and will be hoping to carry that spirit and avoid defeat. James Borrego’s men took the game to OT, where they were unfortunately tapped out and lost 149-142.

Their third OT game of the season extended their current losing run to four games. The Pels are not only the worst team in the West but are the worst in the entire league.

They have won just three of 22 games and are being outscored by 10 points a game. Zion Williamson is ruled out through injury, and so are Yves Missi, Jordan Poole, and Herb Jones.

The Timberwolves have now won three consecutive games and have improved to five games above .500. Chris Finch’s men, who have won 13 matches, shot 50% from the field but stuttered from beyond the arc, where they missed 30 attempts.

As one of the top three-point shooting teams, we should expect a much-improved performance from distance for the visitors. Minnesota doesn’t have any injuries for this match.
