The out-of-form Milwaukee Bucks have a big game ahead in the NBA as they welcome the high-flying Detroit Pistons. Detroit currently occupy top spot in the Eastern Conference and is 8.5 games clear of their hosts, who are down in 11th. Read on to find our prediction for this match.

The Bucks are struggling. Their shortcomings were laid bare last time out as they lost a healthy lead away to East strugglers Washington.

Doc Rivers’ men, who have gradually returned to being almost at full strength, were outscored 129-126 after losing a 16-point lead. They have now lost 13 times and find themselves four games below .500.

The Bucks lost the first meeting with the Pistons.

The Pistons have regained their form after surprise back-to-back losses at the tail end of last month. J.B. Bickerstaff’s men, who had won 14 consecutive games before those losses to the Magic and Celtics, have won their last two.

Both games, however, have gone down to the wire, with none being decided by more than three points. Detroit, who have a strong lead atop the East standings, are coming off a nail-biting 99-98 victory at home over the Hawks.

The win, their 17th in 21 outings, kept them 2.5 games clear of their closest challengers.
