Miami Heat are top of the southeast division of the Eastern Conference with a 36-22 season record. They look to get their 37th win of the NBA season when hosting the Dallas Mavericks who have also won 36 matches this season. Miami are fourth overall in the Eastern Conference and look certain to make into the upcoming postseason play-offs. They lead the southeast division by 10 wins with Orlando Magic in second. Miami have had a tough February losing seven matches but eight of their 11 fixtures have been on the road. Six of those have been lost and they are 2-1 at home for the month. Their most recent home win was a 19-point victory over Cleveland. Home form has been highly impressive this season with 23 wins from their 27 games played.

Dallas Mavericks are also battling hard to make it into the play-offs. They have a 36-23 season record and are second in the southwest division of the Western Conference. Overall they are seventh in the conference but should be safely in those play-offs. The Mavericks still have a chance of winning the southwest division and are only two wins behind the Houston Rockets. They have won 20 of their 29 matches on the road this season with a 4-2 record for February. Miami away is not an easy fixture though and the Heat can return to winning ways in a likely tight match.
