Barangay Ginebra San Miguel will be out to strengthen their playoff bid when they take on Meralco Bolts in their second meeting of the 2026 PBA Governors' Cup on Friday. The Gin Kings come into this clash as favourites, having won each of their last eight Governors' Cup encounters with the Bolts, hence our prediction backing them to prevail.
Meralco Bolts have shown no signs of turning things around following their recent slump. They came off second best, losing 105–88 to Magnolia Hotshots last week, marking their fourth defeat on the bounce.
