Memphis Grizzlies vs San Antonio Spurs Prediction & Betting Tips - NBA

A Western Conference clash in the NBA sees the Memphis Grizzlies hosting the San Antonio Spurs at the FedExForum. Memphis have been on a red-hot run of form which has seen them shoot up to the top of the Western Conference and put them even with the Denver Nuggets for the top seed. The Grizzlies have won seven games in a row following their most recent outing, a 121-113 win against their opponents today when the two teams met on Monday. The Grizz have now won 27 games this season with only 13 losses, tying them with three other teams for the second best record in the entire NBA behind the Celtics. 

Standing in their way are the San Antonio Spurs who will be concluding their double header with Memphis before heading back to Texas to take on the Warriors. It’s been a rough season for the Spurs who currently hold the second worst record in the West with 13 wins and 28 losses. San Antonio are coming off two straight losses and have dropped seven of their last 10 games overall. However, coach Gregg Popvich should be encouraged by his team’s overall performance in the last outing as the Spurs were able to keep the game relatively close against a Grizzlies team that has won 17 of their 20 home games on the season. 

The Grizzlies have an excellent recent record against the Spurs and are looking for their 10th consecutive win against them in this game. During that time though, Memphis have only managed two of their nine wins by a double-digit margin. The Grizzlies yet again come into this game as massive favorites but could find themselves in a somewhat close game against a well-coached San Antonio team.
