The Los Angeles Lakers will welcome the Chicago Bulls looking to get back to winning ways in the NBA. They are currently ninth in the Western Conference, the same position the Bulls hold in the East. The Lakers are coming off a 127-116 defeat to city rivals the Clippers. Their 23rd defeat of the season saw them drop right back to below .500. Darvin Ham’s men have battled with inconsistency all through the season and so far this month have lost seven times. They missed LeBron James against the Clippers and the veteran forward has been listed as ‘Questionable’ for this match. His co-star Anthony Davis is also a doubt while Cam Reddish and Gabe Vincent have been ruled out. The Lakers are averaging 115.0 points when at home, where they have so far won 16 of 24 matches.

The Chicago Bulls are also seeking to get back to winning ways. Billy Donovan’s men saw a two-game winning run come to an end last time out in Phoenix. Starting a three-game road trip in the West, they narrowly lost 115-113 to the in-form Suns. It was their 24th defeat and kept them three games below .500. Chicago has had a good last few seasons against LA and have won four of the last five matchups. They were 124-108 winners in the first meeting of the season a month ago. The Bulls, who are ranked 27th on offence, are averaging 109.6 points when away from home. Zach Lavine will continue to be sidelined with injury so too will Torrey Craig. Patrick Williams is probable for this trip.
