Liverpool trail Manchester United by seven points and that's virtually eight because of their inferior goal difference, they just can't afford to lose this game. If they do and Man City beat Stoke, then their title challenge is virtually over in the second week of October. They lie seventh in the table and have already drawn three of their seven games with just one defeat at Manchester City. Home form has seen them beat Palace 1-0, Arsenal 4-0 and then get held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley. Just the one home league goal conceded so far but 11 on their travels. Their defence continues to look shaky and will be severely tested by United this weekend. United are second in the table only behind rivals Manchester City on goals scored. They have only conceded two league goals so far this season, both in the 2-2 draw at Stoke. Their other away games saw a 4-0 win at Swansea and a hard-fought 1-0 win over Southampton. They have won their last six league and cup games and nine of the last ten scoring 32 goals. Te last three games between these two sides have been drawn, the best bet here seems to be for both teams to score considering Liverpool have Coutinho and Mane back but just keep conceding goals.
