The injury crisis at Liverpool is easing, but the poor results aren’t, with Jurgen Klopp’s side suffering yet another defeat on Thursday. They will be at home to take on relegation threatened Fulham on Monday. Fulham have so far managed 23 points and are 18th while Liverpool are seventh on 43 points. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has already conceded the league title amidst a very poor run by the team’s standards. On Thursday, they suffered yet another loss, to Chelsea – their fifth in seven matches. Injuries haven’t been kind on the team too; the German has been forced to work with makeshifts, especially in defence. As a result, the team has just two clean sheets in the last 11 matches. It should get better against Fulham though, with Fabinho and Diogo Jota returning. In their last six league matches Liverpool have one win and five losses; the win was against bottom placed Sheffield United and they’ll hope to avoid a shock against another relegation battler. While they have just one clean sheet in the last six league matches, Liverpool have failed to score in three of those and have just three wins in the last 13 league matches. The loss to Chelsea was their fifth straight at home, and they’ve failed to score in four of the five.

Fulham can’t afford to continue dropping points; they’re three points below 17th place and have played a game more. They were unfortunate in their 1-0 loss to Tottenham but can’t afford to mourn that for long. With one loss and four clean sheets in the last six matches, they should have what it takes to take on this off color Liverpool side. A slight improvement in defence has seen their last seven matches all end in under 2.5 goals but they’ve failed to score in the last two matches. Away from home, Fulham are unbeaten in their last seven in the league, but then they have managed just one win in the process. They have three clean sheets in the last five away league matches.
