Leeds vs Stoke Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Leeds United host Stoke City in the Championship on Tuesday night, with the home side looking to get back to winning ways after their first draw in 10 games when sharing the points 1-1 at Huddersfield on Saturday. Prior to that Leeds had won nine and closed within six points of Leicester, a gap they closed to four points with their point at the weekend, but they dropped to third in the Championship table as Ipswich Town scored a fifth win in five to leapfrog Leeds and take second spot in the table. As such, Daniel Farke's team will be certainly ready to get back to winning ways here, especially against a team that beat them earlier on in the season. Defensively Leeds have been outstanding in the last 10 games, conceding just 3 goals and keeping seven clean sheets in that run. 

Coming into this game, Stoke have the benefit of landing their second win in the last nine games at the weekend. A 2-0 win over Middlesbrough which proved vital as it moved the Potters out of the bottom three and into the relative safety of 21st in the table. With 33 goals this season, Stoke have the third worst goals scored record in the Championship (only Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday have scored fewer) but defensively they have been pretty solid, conceding just 48 goals, which is just three more than top four teams Ipswich and Southampton. Steve Schumacher has had a tough time since coming in as manager in December from Plymouth Argyle, and he will no doubt recognise how important this game is for the Potters. However, he will also be well aware how tricky it will be to pick up anything from the trip to Elland Road.
