Fifth-placed Terrafirma and fourth-placed TNT meet in the rematch of their 2026 Governors’ Cup Group A encounter on Wednesday. TNT have won six of their last eight Governors' Cup meetings with Terrafirma and have been the better team in the conference this season, leading us to back TNT for a comfortable win in our prediction.

Terrafirma’s final game before the break ended in a heavy 17-point defeat to Converge FiberXers at Ynares Center in Antipolo. Dyip looked set for a disappointing outing against the FiberXers from the start, trailing by 29 points in the third quarter before eventually falling to a 120–103 defeat. 

That result marked their second defeat in three games and fifth in eight outings in the conference overall, leaving them one game outside the top four. They have lost three of their last four meetings with TNT Tropang 5G across all conferences by double digits. 

TNT Tropang 5G came off second best against group leaders NLEX Road Warriors in their last game before the break, losing 118–111. They battled the in-form NLEX to a 107-107 tie at regulation before surrendering in overtime. 

The defending champions lost by five points to Terrafirma in their first meeting of the conference, but come into this contest as favourites having won three of their last five games. They are 4–4 in the conference and have won six of their last eight Governors' Cup encounters with Terrafirma.
