This rematch of the 2026 PBA Governors' Cup Group A clash sees Terrafirma and NLEX lock horns at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium on Friday. The Road Warriors have won each of their six games in the competition, four by comfortable margins, and are the overwhelming favorites against a Dyip side that has lost four of its six fixtures. This is why we are supporting NLEX for a comfortable win in our prediction.

After a promising start, a dismal 1–4 record in their last five outings has left Terrafirma Dyip one place outside the playoff positions in Group A. They are still firmly in the running for a top-four finish in the group, with another six games to spare, and this matchup will be a significant test of those playoff ambitions.

Unfortunately, Ronald Tubid's men appear set for another difficult run in this second round of Group A's schedule after rounding off the first round with a shock 96–92 defeat to tournament guests Macau Black Bears. They are 1–4 in their last five matchups with NLEX across all conferences.

Meanwhile, NLEX Road Warriors took everyone by surprise with a perfect 6–0 record in the first round. This includes a 101–100 victory over Terrafirma Dyip in their earlier meeting and an 88–83 victory against tournament favorites TNT last time out. 

Interestingly, the Road Warriors have dominated Terrafirma in previous seven Governors' Cup meetings between the two sides, winning all seven.
