Juventus still lead Serie A by seven points but it could easily have been less than that. The league leaders lost at AC Milan but Lazio also met defeat and now Juventus face the tough task of hosting third placed Atalanta. Juventus led 2-0 at AC Milan but then conceded three goals in five minutes, eventually losing 4-2. Lazio lost at Lecce so that seven point lead was preserved. That was only the fourth league loss for Juventus this season and all on their travels. Home form has seen them win 14 and draw one of their 15 league fixtures with the last eight all being won. Only Sassuolo have come away from Juventus with a league point this season. Juventus are unbeaten in their last 36 home SerIe A games, winning 31 of them.

Atalanta moved into third after their home win over Sampdoria on Wednesday.  That was their ninth league win in a row but they remain nine points behind their opponents. A win at Juventus might just give them an outside hope of winning the title. They are only two points behind second placed Lazo so that and winning the Champions League are probably their two main targets. Atalanta may be facing a Juventus side yet to lose a home league game but they have the best away record. Ten out of 15 away league games have been won with 41 goals scored and just one defeat. Their last five away league fixtures have all been won and 20 goals scored. At both Torino and Lecce, they scored seven goals, that isn't going to happen at Juventus but they must be confident of getting on the scoresheet, go for both teams to score.
