The final round one matchup at the 2025 Darts World Grand Prix on Tuesday evening will see Josh Rock facing Ryan Joyce. Rocky is ranked 10th, while Relentless is 25th, according to the PDC World Rankings as of the cut-off date. Let’s get into the match prediction!

For Josh Rock, this is a match he would likely have been hoping for, as it was this very opponent who eliminated him from this competition in the first round last year. 

Rocky has consistently reached the latter stages of majors this year, including semis at the World Matchplay and UK Open. He also won the PC10 event and partnered Daryl Gurney to a World Cup triumph over Wales. 

Rock was a beaten finalist last week at the PC29 event but bowed out in the first round of PC30 against Callan Rydz. He is 6-4 in his last 10 matches across all competitions. 

Meanwhile, after beating this opponent in round one of the World Grand Prix last year, Ryan Joyce proceeded to eliminate Nathan Aspinall and Rob Cross before losing to Luke Humphries in the semis.

Relentless had a fairly poor first half of the year, but he has shown improvement in recent months, reaching the quarter-final of the World Series of Darts Finals before winning PC26 against Gerwyn Price. 

At PC30 last week, Joyce was beaten in round four by Mickey Mansell, but that was only the third defeat he has suffered in his last 10 matches.
