The final day in Week 2 of the 2026 FIVB Nations League will kick off with Iran taking on Cuba. Los Leones are winless in this competition, which sees us leaning toward the value on the underdogs for our main prediction.
Iran put up a tough fight against Japan on Friday but were unable to avoid a 3-2 defeat. They have now lost six of their seven 2026 VNL matches, with their only win coming against Argentina.
Despite their poor campaign, Ali Hajipour has been excellent for the team, currently on 90 points in the competition (including 10 blocks), which ranks 11th in the overall top-scorer standings.

Meanwhile, Cuba have been extremely disappointing in this competition. After losing to Serbia 3-1 on Saturday, they are now the only team in the 2026 VNL that has yet to win a match.
