Inter Milan recovered from their Super Cup disappointment with a 1-0 win against struggling Venezia. Their positive return to the Serie A left them second in the standings, four points behind Napoli, who have played two games more.

That win at Venezia was Inter’s 13th of the season in Serie A and a fifth win in the league. It was also the fourth straight in Serie A without conceding.

Bologna aren’t on a very good run coming into this game and their recent history at Inter will not work for them either. Away to Inter Milan in the last four league matches, they managed a draw and three defeats.

Facing a side unbeaten in 13 league matches will call for a lot. The Rossoblu drew 2-2 with AS Roma in their last match.
