Meanwhile, for India, it has been business as usual. They’ve ticked off two wins in a row so far and look well on their way to another Super Eight. The Men in Blue began their World Cup campaign with a demolition of Ireland and followed that up with a hard-fought six-run victory against arch-nemises Pakistan over the weekend. Against the Shaheens, India were bowled out for just 119, marking their lowest-ever T20 total against their old foes. However, an inspired bowling performance of 3/14 by Jasprit Bumrah turned the game on its head and secured victory for the Blue Shirts. India are now on a seven-match winning streak in T20Is and are clear favourites to win this match. However, they will know that they cannot underestimate this opponent, who have already overcome one Test-playing nation in this competition.
