The Golden State Warriors are doing their level best to hang onto their NBA Title. They won the last match to reduce the deficit to 3-2 but still need to win the final two matches to prevent the Toronto Raptors from winning the title for the first time. This series has been one in which the away team has prospered. Only one of the first five games have been won by the home team and that was the first game played in Toronto. The Warriors won the next game in Canada but then lost two in a row at home. That took the score to 3-1 for Toronto and the Warriors need to win the final three matches (only one of which is at home) to keep their title.

The most recent match in Canada saw the Warriors and they got off to a good start winning the first quarter by six points. The next two quarters finished level but then the Raptors began a comeback. They won the final quarter by five points but couldn't secure that final basket that would have won them the title. Warriors ran out the 106-105 winners with Stephen Curry again top-scoring for them. So, onto their final home match and they simply have to win it. That win in Toronto must have boosted their confidence after losing two home games.
