San Antonio Spurs lost narrowly at the Los Angeles Clippers in their last game. That took them to 3-1 in the Southwest Division of the Western Conference and they now take on the Golden State Warriors who are 1-3 for the season. San Antonio are in a tight division with three teams all having won three matches. They will want to get a win here to keep up their battle against leaders Dallas Mavericks and the Houston Rockets. All three of their wins this season have come at home. They lost to the Clippers but each of the four quarters only had three points or less between the two teams.

The Golden State Warriors are fourth in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference. They are 1-3 for the season and behind the two Los Angeles teams and the Phoenix Suns. It's all a bit disappointing after making the NBA finals last season. They have lost some key players though and their results are showing that. Their only win this season has come against New Orleans with losses to the LA Clippers (by 19 points), Phoenix Suns and Oklahoma City (by 28 points). San Antonio are in better form than them and they can get their first away win of the season.
