Chase Center will burst into life on Saturday night when the Golden State Warriors return home for Game 3 of their NBA Playoff series against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Timberwolves won the last match to level the series 1-1. Let’s get into the match prediction. 

In the first quarter of Game 2, it became plainly evident that the Golden State Warriors were in trouble, as they went the first five minutes without a basket and were down by 17 by the end of the period. 

Stephen Curry’s absence is a major issue for the Warriors, and they need Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green to step up their performances if they are to make their home advantage count. 

The positive for the Dubs in the last game, though, was the performances of Jonathan Kuminga and Trayce Jackson-Davis, who combined for 33 points and made their first 14 field goal attempts off the bench. 

Meanwhile, the Minnesota Timberwolves had a major scare of their own in the last game, with Anthony Edwards forced off late in the first half, clutching his ankle after going down during a drive. 

However, the Timberwolves' star man returned in the second half and went on to score 20 points. Minnesota’s standout performance came from Julius Randle, who scored 24 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds. 

What was evident in Game 2 is that the Timberwolves did their homework after GSW’s big defensive effort in Game 1. They found a way to create wide-open looks from range and drained 16 of 37 from the three-point line.
