Genoa vs Juventus Prediction & Betting Tips - Serie A

Genoa are one from bottom in Serie A and facing a long hard relegation battle. They host Juventus this weekend who are fourth in the table and yet to lose a league game this season. It’s been another tough season for Genoa who finished a place above the relegation zone last term. This time around, they have won just one of their first ten league games and are three points from safety. Their only win came in the very first game of the new season. That was a 4-1 home win over Crotone who are bottom of Serie A and yet to win a game. Since that opening win, Genoa have earned just three points from nine league matches. They had lost four in a row before last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Fiorentina. A second league win looked likely when they went ahead in the 89th minute. Then the home side equalized a minute later. Home form has seen Genoa get that win over Crotone but then lose the next four. The away side has scored at least twice in all of those matches They have had success in the past when Juventus come to town. The last six home league games against them has produced three wins and three losses. Their current form doesn’t inspire any thought of another win though.

Juventus are in fourth place but six points behind leaders AC Milan, the only other unbeaten side in Serie A. They may be unbeaten but of their ten league fixtures, five have ended in a draw. Three of their first five league games ended level. That included a disappointing 1-1 draw at Crotone. Recent games have seen Juventus win three of their last five league games. A bet on both teams to score might be an idea though. Juventus have only kept one clean sheet in their last seven Serie A games. Away form has produced just one Serie A victory this season, a 4-1 win at promoted Spezia. The other four have all ended in score draws, the last three being 1-1 scorelines. This looks a good opportunity to get another away win and their confidence must be high after that 3-0 win at Barcelona on Tuesday.
