Freiburg vs Werder Bremen Prediction & Betting Tips - Bundesliga

Freiburg start the weekend in seventh place, two points behind the final Europa League qualifying position. They haven't been in the best of form though and will hope to get back into winning ways at home to Werder Bremen, who are one from bottom in the Bundesliga.  Freiburg come into this fixture having won only one of their last five league games. Their first game back after the suspension saw them go to RB Leipzig and come away with a 1-1 draw. They took the lead in the first half but conceded an equalizer 13 minutes from time. Home form has seen them win six league games this season with four losses. Two of the last three have ended in victory though.

Werder Bremen only have Padeborn below them in the table. Their current position would see them automaticially relegated and they are five points adrift of the relegation play-off position. With a nine-point gap to safety, Bremen have a lot of work on their hands to maintain their place in the Bundesliga. They made a disappointing return to action losing 4-1 at home to Bayer Leverkusen. That made it just one point from their last seven league games and 10 losses in the last 12 with the last win coming in January. Away form has seen them earn three wins but only once have they kept a clean sheet on their travels. Freiburg can't let the gap between them and sixth grow wider, they can get a home win this weekend.
