They bounced back well in their semi-final getting a win over hosts Germany. That was a tough game for them as they trailed the Germans by two points at the break. If Denmark want to win the Olympic Gold Medal this summer, it's France who they will have to dethrone. The French side are current Olympic champions and lost to Denmark in the final of last year's World Championships. They are bidding to win the European title for the fourth time and the first in ten years. 2022 saw them lose in the semi-finals but they have gone one round further this time around. They won Group A in the Preliminary Round and then won Group I in the Main Round. That took them into a semi-final against defending champions Sweden. A great first half performance saw them ahead by six goals at the break. Sweden fought back well to level at full time. Extra time was required and France ran out 34-30 winners. Another close match looks likely here and we tip Denmark to win this final.
