Sixth-placed Roma will be away to 11th on the standings Fiorentina on Saturday in the penultimate round of Italy's Serie A. Roma still have hopes of a top-four finish while Fiorentina will have their mind on the upcoming Europa Conference League final. The Viola need to bounce back from their midweek Coppa Italia final defeat by Inter. They took the lead in that match after just three minutes but ended up losing 2-1. The loss ended a three-match unbeaten run that had seen them win twice. Fiorentina have struggled to get going at home and have won only two of their last seven matches. It'll be interesting to see what line-up they field. There's no hope of European qualification via Serie A so may rest some players.

Following Inter's success in the Coppa Italia, seven teams will now qualify for Europe next season. This means that Roma will qualify for the Europa League and not the Conference League if they can finish in the top six. Jose Mourinho's men are currently in sixth place and lead Juventus in seventh by one point. They also have a chance at the top four though. Roma are only four points adrift of the Champions League places but it's not looking likely that they can finish in the top four. Roma are also through to the Europa League final. They will however first seek to qualify for the competition next season before anything else. The Giallorossi have struggled to subdue teams in recent outings and come to this match with one win from their last eight matches. They drew their last three fixtures with the latest ending 2-2 against Salernitana. La Maggica therefore need to be at their best to win here. But after defeating Fiorentina in the reverse fixture, they will be confident of victory.
