Third seed Felix Auger-Aliassime takes on recent Mallorca Open champion and 22nd seeded Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. The winner goes into the quarter-finals at Wimbledon and looking at previous matches between the pair, our prediction is a win for Auger-Aliassime but both players will win a set.

In the last eight, the winner will face either seventh seed Novak Djokovic or qualifier Roman Safiullin.

Auger-Aliassime has reached two grass court quarter-finals this year in the Libema Open and Halle. In both tournaments, he lost to the eventual champion. So far at Wimbledon he has beaten Alexander Shevchenko, Dino Prizmic and Michael  Zheng without dropping a set.

He leads Fokina 4-1 in previous meetings but lost their last match at the 2025 Australian Open. Three of their last four matches have seen both players win a set. One of their matches saw four tie-breaks played, so side bets on sets ending 7-6 could well win..

Alejandro Davidovich Fokina was 23rd in the last ranking list. He has made it to the fourth round at Wimbledon for the first time. A win here will take the Spaniard into his third grass court quarter-final of the year. He has also won his three matches so far in straight sets but this is far tougher.
