Monaco will travel to Barcelona for Round 3 of the EuroLeague, seeking to maintain their 100% start to the season. They currently sit second in the standings while Barcelona, who lost on Match Day 1, are fifth. Let’s take a look at the stats and a prediction of the match.

Barcelona bounced back from their season-opening loss with a home win over Alba last time out. Winning 88-73 against Alba was a major shift in offence for Joan Penarroya’s men, who led in each quarter.

Barca are now on a three-match winning run across all competitions after defeating Lenovo 95-91 in the domestic league over the weekend. Kevin Punter has scored at least 11 points in each of Barca’s two EuroLeague games.

He had his best offensive night on Match Day 2 as he poured in 14 points. The hosts, averaging 77.5 points, do not have major injury concerns.

Having been in spectacular offensive form in the opening rounds, Monaco will be confident of a win here. Sasa Obradovic’s men are averaging the third-best points tally with 89.0 per game.
