Crystal Palace's unbeaten start to the 2025-26 Premier League will be put to the test against their poor record against Everton as the sides meet on Sunday in a matchday seven fixture. This match at the new home venue of Everton, the Hill Dickinson Stadium, between the ninth-placed Toffees and the third-placed Eagles comes with our prediction of both teams scoring goals.

The season started well for Everton, but they lost their way in the last three matchdays. This could be their chance to get back to winning ways, looking at how they dominated Palace in recent years. They also bring an impressive record to their new home and will be looking to extend that run.

One team that knows a thing or two about staying unbeaten is Palace, as they are the only side yet to lose in this Premier League campaign. They have been consistently picking up wins and will be looking to move past their poor historical record against Everton. Can the teams dish out a classic this weekend and entertain the neutral fans? Read more for our analysis, team news, and match predictions.

Everton - Crystal Palace: Form Analysis

Everton's eight points (W2, D2, L2) see them start three points behind the top four teams, although just four points above the relegation zone. The Toffees were held to a 1-1 draw at this venue by West Ham last week, extending their search for a win to four competitive matches (D2, L2).

They still remain a strong force at home, as the goal by West Ham was the first they conceded in four competitive matches here this season (W2, D2). With two of those clean sheets coming against Brighton and Aston Villa in the league, Everton are likely to be a tough cookie for the visitors.

Everton are unbeaten in their last 11 home games against Palace in all competitions.

That's a formidable record, but Palace bring rich form here. They are unbeaten in the league (W3, D3) and start this round three points behind leaders Liverpool. Interestingly, Palace defeated Liverpool 2-1 last time out, which was their third win in a row in all competitions.

Even in the league, they have three wins from their last four matches (W3, D1), bouncing back from consecutive draws to start the campaign. Two of those wins have come on the road in their last two trips, but can the Eagles sustain that momentum?

Everton & Crystal Palace Squad Analysis

There's some good news on the horizon for Everton, as defender Jarrad Branthwaite is closed to a return after missing the entire season with a hamstring injury. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in the last game.

David Moyes' 4-2-3-1 formation could see some personnel change, especially at the top. Beto struggled for goals against West Ham, which could mean a chance for Thierno Barry to start and show his impact.

Jack Grealish has four assists in the Premier League for Everton.

Palace are perhaps the best team in the Premier League playing in a 3-4-3 system, something which Manchester United are struggling with! Jean-Philippe Mateta will lead the line, while the electric Eddie Nketiah will hope to get more game time after scoring the winner against Liverpool as a substitute.

Nketiah also scored in the midweek win against Dynamo Kyiv, so he will be rearing to go. As for absences, Cheick Doucoure is recovering from a long-term injury, while Chadi Riad is another miss.

Our Everton vs Crystal Palace Prediction

Everton started the season with two wins out of the first three matchdays but have lost steam since then. Including the Merseyside derby defeat, they have now gone three games winless. Palace are perhaps the toughest team to play, on current form in Europe, as they remain the only unbeaten side in the league. As they showed in the win against Liverpool last weekend, the Eagles can be a tough team to face.

This fixture is likely to deliver goals, and our Everton vs Crystal Palace prediction is both teams to score.

Everton wins the match

Odds 2.5

Crystal Palace have ticked so many boxes this season that it's difficult to see them come unstuck here. Despite that, if there's one team Everton wants to face any day of the week, it's Palace! Look at their recent record against them and the fact that the Toffees won five of the last seven Premier League matches against them. That included winning both the seasonal games by a 2-1 score last year. Back the Toffees to do the unthinkable once again.
