With plenty of fixtures to catch up on, there will be midweek Bundesliga action until the season's end. This Tuesday, we have Eintracht Frankfurt playing host to Freiburg. At the time of writing, Frankfurt are 13th in the table and Freiburg are seventh. In their current form, Frankfurt will do well to hold on to that spot for much longer. With a game away to Bayern Munich coming before their Freiburg clash, we wouldn't be surprised to see them slip to just below the relegation zone. Three consecutive defeats before the break put Frankfurt boss Adi Hutter under pressure to turn things around. However, there weren't any signs of an improvement upon their return to the pitch when they were battered in a 3-1 defeat to Gladbach. That scoreline isn't a true reflection on how dominant Gladbach were in that fixture, a late Andre Silva consolation arriving long after the game had been sewn up. 

Chasing a Europa League spot, Freiburg returned to action with an impressive 1-1 result away to RB Leipzig. Scoring straight from a corner, they took advantage of the unusually sluggish performance from their title-contending opponents. They were the latest team to fall prey to the work ethic of this Freiburg side. While they don't score many goals - they've only more than once in two of their nine games this calendar year - they often don't need to. Freiburg have picked up 13 points in matches where they've only scored one goal. One of those matches was the reverse fixture against Frankfurt, a solitary goal deciding the contest. That was a feisty encounter with three red cards. We don't expect to see a repeat of that in a game behind closed doors. It's best to concentrate on results for your wager. We couldn't back Frankfurt in this state. Go for Freiburg draw no bet.
