Olimpia Milan will welcome Anadolu Efes in round five of the 2024/25 EuroLeague Basketball season. The hosts sit 17th in the standings while Efes are ninth. Read on for our prediction for this match.

Milan have had a poor start to their European campaign and after four rounds have managed just one win. This victory was a 79-74 success over visiting Paris on Match Day 2.

Ettore Messina’s men have lost back-to-back EuroLeague fixtures. The recent defeat was a close 85-82 setback at home to Zalgiris. This poor start has left them second from bottom in the standings with a -32 points differential.

Milan, who are averaging 77.3 points, could be without the injured Zach LeDay for this match.

Anadolu Efes have won five of their last six matchups with Milan. One of these wins was on the road. Coming off a morale-boosting win, they will be confident of extending their advantage here.

Tomislav Mijatovic’s men have also not had a convincing start to their European season. They have managed two wins in four outings.

One of their wins, however, came on the road against Milan’s domestic rivals Bologna. The other victory was a 91-89 success over Olympiacos on Match Day 3.
