The Detroit Pistons will be at home against the New Orleans Pelicans seeking to snap their current NBA losing run. They come to this game sitting bottom of the Eastern Conference standings while the Pelicans are fifth in the West. The Pistons have lost their last five games with four of those coming at home. They were hammered 129-102 last time out by the Celtics. Month Williams’ men possess the worst record not only in the East but in the entire NBA. They have managed just 12 wins and are on course for one of the worst seasons in the NBA. Seven players have been ruled out for this game due to injuries. They are Stanley Umude, Simone, Fontecchio, Quentin Grimes, Taj Gibson, and Jalen Duren. Ausar Thompson and Isaiah Stewart are out for the rest of the campaign.

The Pelicans will also have several key players unavailable for this game. Brandon Ingram and Dyson Daniels are ruled out due to knee issues. This will however not have them much worried as they are rolling at the moment. Willie Green’s men have won eight of their last 10 games and have strengthened their chances of automatic playoff qualification. They are currently two games clear of the play-in places with 12 games to play in the regular season. New Orleans however have a tough run-in coming up and cannot afford to lose to lowly-ranked teams such as the Pistons.
