Detroit Pistons are third in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference. That division has already been won by Millwaukee Bucks but the Pistons are sixth overall in the conference so in with a chance of making it into the end of season play-offs. They have a 31-31 record for the season winning 19 of their 32 home games. Detroit had been down at 29-31 but have won their last two games defeating Cleveland and Toronto. Nine of their last 12 home games have been won by them.

It's not been a great season for Minnesota Timberwolves who lie bottom of the Northwest Division in the Western Conference. They are ranked 10th overall in the conference and still have an outside chance of making the play-offs. Minnesota have a 30-34 record and on their travels have only won nine out of their 33 games. Ryan Saunders is their interim coach after his predecessor Tom Thibodeau was sacked in January. Last month saw them lose six of their seven away games and already this month they have lost at Washington. This looks booked for a home win for Detroit Pistons.
