The Portland Trail Blazers will be away to the Denver Nuggets for their next NBA regular season fixture. Both teams sit at opposite ends of the Western Conference standings with Denver currently fourth and Portland 14th. The Nuggets have one of the best home records in the NBA this season. They have compiled a 19-4 record thus far at the Ball Arena and will be confident of another win here. Their dominance in this fixture should also strengthen their belief. Denver has won eight of the last 10 meetings with Portland. This is their first meeting of the season. Mike Malone’s men are coming off a 105-100 defeat by the Thunder. Their 16th defeat of the season ended a two-game winning run. The Nuggets are averaging 114.7 points but their defence has been the star of the show. They are holding teams to 110.8 points which is the fourth best record. Nikola Jokic missed the OKC game and is listed as ‘Questionable’ for this match. Jamal Murray is also a doubt due to a knee issue.

The Trail Blazers are in a good spell at the moment and arrive for this match off the back of two victories. Both wins have come against the top-ranking teams in the East, that is the Bucks and Sixers. They defeated the Bucks 119-116 last time out. This is the first time in two months that Chauncey Billups’ men have won back-to-back games. They have won three in a row only once and will look to tie their best run this season.
