The Mavericks are building up some momentum after winning their last two matches. This is the first time this season that they have won consecutive fixtures and will be keen to keep the run going.

Jason Kidd’s men, who have only managed five wins so far, are coming off a shock victory over the in-form Nuggets in Denver. The Mavs overcame a 17-point deficit to defeat the Nuggets 131-121.

Anthony Davis, who has been in and out of the team due to injuries, returned to score a game-high 32 points in the win.

The Heat got back to winning ways last time out with a dominant show against the struggling Clippers. Erik Spoelstra’s men earned their seventh win in their last eight games by outscoring LA 140-123 at home.

It was the fifth time this season that the Heat had scored 140 points or more in a game. The visitors are dominating teams offensively and are averaging 124 points a game, which is the second-best tally.

They, however, did not have a fluid offensive game against the Mavericks in the first meeting of the season between the two a week ago. In Tyler Herro’s first outing of the season, the Heat earned a close 106-102 victory at home.
