Como will look to continue their march towards a top-half finish in Serie A when they host Cagliari in a Matchday 36 fixture on Saturday. This match between the 10th-placed Lariani and the 14th-placed Gli Isolani at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia comes with our prediction of a home win.

With three rounds remaining, Como's 45 points put them marginally above the two teams below them, both on 44 points. Cagliari's 33 points put them seven points above the relegation zone, which could be enough to guarantee safety.

A 1-0 away win at Parma last weekend continued Como's late-season improvements. They have now won five matches in a row in the league and are looking like favorites to finish in the top half.

Four of those have come with a clean sheet, underlining their growing defensive strengths. Results have been decisive at this venue too, as Como have won three and drawn two of their five recent home fixtures.
