The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Portland Trail Blazers will meet at the Rocket Arena in the NBA on Wednesday night. The Cavs (13-9) are sixth in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Blazers (8-13) are 10th in the West. Let’s get into the match prediction.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will be looking to rebuild some momentum here after snapping a three-game losing streak by thrashing the depleted Pacers 135-119 on Monday night. 

Donovan Mitchell has continued to put up impressive numbers this season (30.6 PPG), including an excellent 43 points and nine rebounds against Indiana last time out. 

However, the team is currently missing several key players, including Max Strus, Jarrett Allen, Larry Nance Jr., and Sam Merrill. Lonzo Ball has missed the last two and is a doubt for this match.

Meanwhile, the Portland Trail Blazers have been slipping in the standings, having now lost 10 of their last 13 games after coming up short 121-118 to the Toronto Raptors on the road last night. 

The Blazers have been putting up solid attacking numbers, averaging 118.3 PPG, but they’re converting just 44.3% of shots from the field and 32.3% from the three-point line.

One major issue for Portland is that they are short-handed at guard, with Scoot Henderson, Jrue Holiday, and Matisse Thybulle out. Damian Lillard and Blake Wesley are also sidelined.
