China vs Argentina Prediction & Betting Tips - Nations League

We kick off Friday’s 2026 FIVB Volleyball Nations League action with China taking on Argentina. La Selección have won their last three matches against this opponent, and we fancy them to extend that record as our match prediction. 

China have yet to win a match in Week 2 of the 2026 VNL, losing to Türkiye 3-0 before going down to Belgium 3-1 on Thursday, marking their fifth defeat in six matches in this competition. 

Bin Wang was the team’s top scorer against Belgium with 20 points, taking his tally to 80 in the competition. Zihua Wen is their leading scorer in the 2026 VNL with 80 points after six matches. 

China are 16th in the standings and have now lost nine of their last 10 matches in all competitions. They last beat their upcoming opponents in the 2018 edition of this tournament. 

Meanwhile, after losing all four of their matches in Week 1, Argentina got Week 2 started on a positive note, pulling off an against-the-odds victory over Germany on Wednesday evening. 

Luciano Vicentin was once again La Selección’s most effective player in that match, with 19 points. The 26-year-old outside hitter now ranks as the sixth-highest scorer in this competition. 

Despite that win, Argentina are still second-bottom in the standings with an SPR of 0.927. They have now split their last 10 matches, five wins and five defeats.
