The Chicago Bulls and Brooklyn Nets will meet in the NBA at the United Center on Wednesday night. The Bulls (9-11) are 10th in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Nets (4-16) are 13th. Let’s get into the match prediction.

The Chicago Bulls are in serious need of a positive result here, as they are currently on a four-match losing streak and have only beaten the lowly Wizards in their last six. 

In their last match against the Magic, Chicago ended Q3 level at 85 points apiece, but they allowed 40 in the final quarter to lose by five. Josh Giddey led the team with 22 points. 

Indeed, defence has been the weak spot for the Bulls this season, as they are allowing 123.2 PPG (fourth-most). They will be without Zach Collins, Noa Essengue, Jalen Smith and Isaac Okoro for this match. 

Meanwhile, after four consecutive double-digit defeats, the Brooklyn Nets finally got back in the win column with a 116-103 victory over the Charlotte Hornets on Monday night. 

While the Nets were much better, especially on defence against Charlotte, they still have the third-worst defensive rating in the league, and just four wins in 20 this season is hardly much to get excited about. 

The performance of Michael Porter Jr (24.9 PPG) is about the only real positive about the Nets this season. Haywood Highsmith, Cam Thomas and Ternace Mann are ruled out for this one.
