Tip Chelsea - Manchester United
| by Steve Ashfield
Chelsea fans won't forget the beating their side received at Old Trafford on the first weekend of the new season. However, now they are fourth in the table and their opponents start the weekend in eighth place, six points behind Chelsea. The Londoners are in the final Champions League place but only two points clear of Sheffield United and this is their game in hand. It's the start of a busy few weeks for both sides with matches in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Europa League. The Londoners aren't the most consistent of teams at present, then again neither are United. Chelsea have only won one of their last five league games, three ending in scoredraws. You never quite know what is going to happen in a Chelsea home game. The last six have produced two wins, three defeats and a draw
Manchester United fans also struggle to work out what their team is going to do next. One thing is for sure and that is they can't afford to lose this match. Going nine points behind Chelsea is going to make qualification for the Champions League even more difficult. United were as high as fifth but have won just one of their last five league matches, failing to score in the last three. They have also lost three of their last four away league matches, only scoring in one of them. That's not quite the form of a side wanting to finish in the top four. United have beaten Chelsea twice this season (they also won away in the EFL Cup) but in their current form, a win here looks difficult. The away team may be struggling for goals but they don't come up against the Chelsea defence every week. Go for both teams to score.

Conclusion
This is a game that Manchester United can't afford to lose. A nine point gap would make qualification for the Champions League even more difficult. Neither side are in the best of form and aren't that consistent. Chelsea have already lost twice to United this season and have dodgy home form. United need to improve their scoring rate and up against Chelsea's defence might just do that. A bet on both teams to score is the suggested wager.
