Canada and Brazil will meet in their final Week 2 match at the 2026 FIVB Nations League on Sunday. Canada have lost six of their seven games in this competition, and we’re going for them to suffer another defeat here as our match prediction. 

It’s going to take a massive turn of events for Canada to reach the final round. After losing to Bulgaria 3-2 on Saturday, they have now won only one of their seven games in this competition. 

The Canadians have not had too many standout performances in the competition. Xander Ketrzynski is their leading scorer with 87 points, including seven blocks and three aces. 

Canada are in 15th place and have lost 10 of their last 12 matches in all competitions. They were beaten 3-0 by this opponent in last year’s VNL. 

Meanwhile, after an exceptional opening week in which they won all four matches, Brazil have struggled massively in Week 2, losing three in a row coming into this one. 

Darlan Ferreira leads the team in points scored, currently on 99, including nine off serve. Judson Amabel has racked up an impressive 13 blocks, the most of any player on the team’s roster.

Following their loss to Slovenia last time out, Brazil slipped out of the top seven. They have won six of their last 10 matches in all competitions.
