Burnley will kick off their 2026-27 Carabao Cup campaign at Turf Moor against Notts County on Saturday afternoon. Both these sides had poor pre-seasons, which sees us leaning toward a low-scoring outcome here as our match prediction.
Burnley endured a very poor 2025-26 season, having once again suffered the drop from the top flight after finishing second-last in the standings with just 22 points from their 38 matches.
