A 4-1 home win on Boxing Day took Manchester United up to seventh in the Premier League. They end 2019 with an away fixture at Burnley who are 12th in the table but only four points behind United. It was a good display by United against Newastle United on Boxing Day with excellent performances from the trio of Martial, Rashford and Greenwood. It was a good comeback after the loss at Watford on Sunday, though there must have been a few worried fans when they went 1-0 down to Newastle. If they do want to get back into the Champions League, away form has to improve. They have seven points from their last five away league games but have lost four on the road already.

Burnley are in 12th and that's five points behind the Europa League place but only six above the relegation zone. Just like a lot of teams in the Premier League, Burnley are an inconsistent bunch. The last five league games have produced a couple of wins but three defeats. They have had wins over Bournemouth and Newcastle but lost to Manchester City, Tottenham and Everton conceding ten goals in the process. Three of their last five home league games have been lost and this looks like being another. Go for United to get the away win here.
