Brighton and Hove Albion are edging towards securing another season in the Premier League. They are 15th at the time of writing this preview and host sixth placed Manchester United. The Seagulls are six points above the bottom three but have a much better goal difference. Brighton have seven games to play but three are against sides currently in the top five. Since the season resumed, Brighton have beaten Arsenal at home and drew at Leicester, so their form is certainly not that of a team that's going to be relegated. Only five home league games have been won this season by Brighton. They had gone four without a win before the victory over the Gunners. Three of their last five at home have been drawn but only Crystal Palace have beaten them in their last six home league fixtures. They have a good home record against Manchester United, winning the last two in the Premier League and only losing one in the last six in all competitions. There haven't been too many goals though with five of the last six home league games having under 2.5 goals scored in them.

Manchester United made it through to the semi-finals of the FA Cup at the weekend. Now they return to Premier League action as they seek a place in the Champions League. They are three points behind fifth placed Wolverhampton Wanderers (with a game in hand) and five adrift of fourth placed Chelsea. It's still unclear whether Manchester City will be banned from the Champions League next season but United need to keep winning. They are unbeaten in their last seven league games and 14 in all competitions. Since the league started again, they have earned four points from two games, drawing at Spurs and beating Sheffield United at home. Away form has been a problem this season with only four Premier League wins on the road. Just 16 goals have been scored with 19 conceded. Each of their last seven away legue fixtures have had under 2.5 goals scored in them. The bet here is for that to becom eight.
