Sixth placed Brighton and Hove Albion look to continue their excellent run of form. They host Bournemouth who are 18th in the table and in terrible form but with new signings to debut. Brighton are only five points behind fifth placed Tottenham and have two games in hand of them. It's eight points to Manchester United in fourth (with a game in hand) but a place in European football next season is possible for the Seagulls. Last weekend saw them beat Liverpool in the FA Cup, their second win over Jurgen Klopp's side in recent weeks. Brighton may have lost Trossard in the transfer window but he's not been playing of late so that won't hurt them too much. Brighton have won four of their nine home league games with recent losses to Aston Villa and Arsenal before a 3-0 win over Liverpool. With four wins in an unbeaten run of five games, Brighton are going to be difficult to beat in this game.

Bournemouth are only in the relegation zone on goal difference but badly need to start winning some games. A form guide for the last 10 league fixtures has them bottom of the table with only four points out of 30. Their last league game saw them draw 1-1 at home with Nottingham Forest but going into the 83rd minute they were leading the game. The point against Forest ended a run of five league and cup defeats in a row. Only one of their last 11 Premier League games has been won, a 3-0 home win over Everton in November. On their travels, Bournemouth have the worst record in the Premier League with just four points earned in ten games and 31 goals conceded. The last five have all been lost with 13 goals scored by the home sides. The last three on the road have seen them fail to get on the scoresheet. They have made some new signings but the new recruits might take a while to settle in. Back Brighton to win this and be ahead at both half and full time.
