Borussia Dortmund vs Lazio Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League

Borussia Dortmund top Group F in the Champions League and a win in this game will see them win the group. They host second placed Lazio who are a point behind but struggling on their travels. Dortund have nine points from their three games and after this match, end the group with a trip to bottom side Zenit St Petersburg. The group began with Dortmund losing 3-1 away to Lazio but they have bounced back with three straight wins. Zenit lost 2-0 in Dortmund and then the Bundesliga side recorded two 3-0 wins over Club Brugge. Erling Haaland is in top form again, scoring in each Champions League game with five in total. Dortmund have lost two of their last three home games, the defeat by Bayern Munich was expected, Saturday's defeat by FC Koln wasn't.  They are the only two losses in their last eight home matches in all competitions. In the Champions League, Dortmund have only one loss in the last ten, that was to Tottenham. They've had two wins at Dortmund and are the only club in the past three years to come away from Dortmund with a Champions League victory. Current form is great with five straight wins in this competition.

Lazio are in second place and a win here will see them into the last sixteen. They lead Club Brugge by four points and the Belgian side travel to Italy for their final match of this group. Lazio's strength is at home with two 3-1 wins over Borussia Dortmund and Zenit St Petersburg. Away from home, they have had two 1-1 draws at Zenit and Brugge and haven't won an away match in a Champions League group since 2003. Recent seasons have been spent in the Europa League and away form there was terrible with seven losses in eight over the past two years. The weekend saw them lose 3-1 at home to Udinese (in the bottom half of Serie A) and only two of their last five games have been won with a league placing of ninth. Dortmund can be backed to get the win here.
