Borussia Dortmund vs Hertha Berlin Prediction & Betting Tips - Bundesliga

Borussia Dortmund continue their chasing of Bayern Munich. The second-placed side start the weekend seven points behind the leaders and face an awkward home game against ninth placed  Hertha Berlin. Bayern are at Bayer Leverkusen earlier on Saturday, so the gap could be ten points by the time Dortmund kick off against Hertha. They returned to winning ways with a 6-1 win at Paderborn on Sunday. That was despite the fact their first goal wasn’t scored until the 54th minute. Jadon Sancho scored a hat-trick, ending a run of five games without a goal. The loss to Bayern Munich last week was their first home league defeat of the season. Before that they had won ten and drawn three scoring 45 goals.  The goal they conceded against Bayern also ended a run of four straight clean sheets. Now they have to try and win their remaining games and hope Bayern somehow slip-up. That’s not looking likely but Dortmund have only lost two of their last 31 home league games and will be hoping for three points here.

However, Hertha Berlin won’t be easy to beat. They had a  2-0 home win over Augsburg on Saturday, their third win in the last four league games. That victory has left them only four points behind the final Europa League qualification position.  Hertha have won five away league games this season and are unbeaten in their last seven on the road. A big improvement considering only one of their first seven were won. They have scored at least twice in each of their last six away league and cup games. Both teams have scored in all but two of their last seven, so a bet on that stat coming up in this match looks a good one to make.
