Group C action at the FIFA Club World Cup continues on Friday afternoon with Benfica taking on Auckland City at the Inter&Co Stadium. As Aguias are second in the group standings, while the Navy Blues are bottom of the group. Let's get into the match prediction. 

Benfica’s Club World Cup campaign got off to a fiery start against Boca Juniors on Tuesday when three players were sent off during the teams' 2-2 draw at the Hard Rock stadium. 

As Aguias conceded twice inside the first half-hour but pulled one back through Angel Di Maria before the break following Ander Herrera’s sending-off. 

Nicholas Otamedi scored the Portuguese outfit's leveller in the final 10 minutes to salvage a share of the spoils, while Andrea Belotti was the player sent off for the team. 

Meanwhile, Auckland City endured an absolute nightmare in their opening match of the Club World Cup, suffering a thumping 10-0 defeat at the hands of Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

City barely laid a glove on the Bavarians, managing just 28% possession and one shot at goal. Another defeat here will likely bring an end to their chances of progressing, given the margin of defeat in their first match. 

Auckland have not been great in their travels of late, producing a record of three wins, one draw, and two losses in their last six outings, while failing to keep a clean sheet in their last five.
